Application

Leukocyte Alkaline Phosphatase (LAP) kits are intended for the qualitative demonstration of alkaline phosphatase activity in white blood cells.
Peripheral blood or bone marrow preparations are fixed to a microscope slide. The film is then incubated in a mixture of naphthol AS-MX phosphate alkaline solution with fast blue RR salt. The resulting blue, insoluble, granular dye deposit indicates sites of alkaline phosphatase activity.

Wnt growth factors are fundamental regulators of cell fate, but how the Wnt signal is translated into biological responses is incompletely understood. Here, we report that TAZ, a biologically potent transcriptional coactivator, serves as a downstream element of the Wnt/β-catenin

Maintenance of bone mass and integrity requires a tight balance between resorption by osteoclasts and formation by osteoblasts. Exocytosis of functional proteins is a prerequisite for the activity of both cells. In the present study, we show that synaptotagmin VII
