General description

Cimaterol is a β-adrenergic agonist.
Cimaterol is classified under the β-agonist class of drugs.

Application

Cimaterol may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in animal tissues, feeding-stuffs, and feces by high-performance liquid chromatography and post-column derivatization.
Cimaterol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Feed samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC).
  • Pig liver, kidney and muscle samples by SPE and UPLC coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS).
  • Bovine retina by SPE and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
