General description

Amberlite IRA-410, anion exchange resin, is an effective catalyst especially for those reactions involving low catalyst concentrations and relatively low temperature. Amberlite IRA-410 is a gel-type resin having styrene-divinyl-benzene skeletal structure.

Application

Amberlite IRA-410 was used as packing material for columns. Amberlite IRA-410 was also used in urinary analysis by HPLC.
Strongly basic (type II) anion exchange resin for water conditioning, removing iodine ions, neutralization of solutions, capturing xanthan and xanthene dyes, etc.; better regeneration efficiency than type I base resin.

Features and Benefits

Strongly basic gel-type resin with benzyldimethyl(2-hydroxyethyl)ammonium functionality chloride ion form useful in catalytic applications.

Polystyrene-b-polyethylene glycol (PS-b-PEG) amphiphilic block copolymers featuring a terminal tridentate N,N,N-ligand (terpyridine) were synthesized for the first time through an efficient route. In this approach, telechelic chain-end modified polystyrenes were produced via reversible addition-fragmentation chain-transfer (RAFT) polymerization by using terpyridine
