General description

Anti-Cyclin B1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total Cyclin B1 protein.
Cyclin B1 belongs to the cyclin family. It is a 48.337kDa protein. It is present in low level in testis, thymus, bone marrow and smooth muscle. It is mapped to human chromosome 5q13.2.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Cyclin B1.

Immunogen Range: 91-140

Application

Anti-Cyclin B1 antibody has been used in western-blot analysis.
Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Cyclin B1-CDK1 (cyclin-dependent kinase 1) helps to induce chromosome condensation, nuclear lamina resolution and mitotic spindle assembly. It also acts as a potential target for a cancer vaccine.
