- As a solid support in the synthesis of a peptide substrate for use in a reaction to prepare disubstituted pyrazino-oxazine derivatives.
- In the synthesis of a peptide intermediate for use in the solid-phase synthesis of tetramic acid derivatives, which have potential applications as pharmaceuticals.
