General description

We are committed to bringing you greener alternative products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. Thermal desorption tubes are reusable at least 50 to 100 times, and reduces the usage of accessories like transfer vials, caps, and pipette tips, thus aligns with “Waste Prevention”. Also, these tubes eliminate the usage of toxic solvents like CS2 to extract the VOCs of interest, and thus aligns with “Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries” principle. Click here for more information.

Application

  • Sorbent material characterization using in-tube extraction needles as inverse gas chromatography column.: Discusses innovative applications of Tenax® TA in sorbent material characterization, providing insights into the physicochemical properties of adsorbents (Barajas XLO et al., 2017 doi:10.1002/jssc.201601198).

  • Online monitoring of trace chlorinated benzenes in flue gas of municipal solid waste incinerator by windowless VUV lamp single photon ionization TOFMS coupled with automatic enrichment system.: Details a sophisticated system integrating Tenax® TA for continuous monitoring of hazardous air pollutants in industrial settings, crucial for environmental safety and compliance (Liu et al., 2016 doi:10.1016/j.talanta.2016.09.026).
