General description

Vial septa are available in a variety of materials. Septa, PTFE/Silicone (septum diam. × total thickness × PTFE thickness 18 mm × 0.060 in. × 2 mil) are compatible with large amber screw top 30 mL and 60 mL bottle caps. They are suitable for use with most organics (until pierced) and are not recommended for use with chlorosilanes.
