General description

Linuron is a substituted phenyl urea herbicide used for controlling weeds in carrot plantations.

Application

Linuron has been used as a standard for the determination of linuron in water and agricultural preparations by HPLC method using stripping voltammetry with carbon paste electrode.
Linuron may be used as a reference standard in the determination of linuron in fruits using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
