Penoxsulam is a triazolopyrimidine sulfonamide type of post-emergence herbicide, used as an acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor for weed control management.

Application

Penoxsulam may be used as a reference standard in the determination of penoxsulam in:
  • Water samples using high performance liquid chromatography coupled with diode array detector (HPLC-DAD).
  • Aquatic systems adjacent to rice fields using liquid chromatography coupled with ultraviolet detector.
