General description
Method: colorimetric with color card and sliding comparator pH 4.5 - 5.0 - 5.5 - 6.0 - 6.5 - 7.0 - 7.5 - 8.0 - 8.5 - 9.0 MQuant®
This MQuant® pH test (formally MColortest®) is suitable for the colorimetric determination using the easy to use color card. The evaluation considers the untreated sample so even turbid and colored water samples can be analyzed without further preparation.
The test can be used in:
Method
An indicator solution changes its color depending on the pH. The pH value is measured semiquantitatively by allocating the color to a value on a reference scale.
The test can be used in:
- Groundwater, drinking water, and surface water, seawater
- Aquarium water, waters from aquaculture
- Boiler water
- Industrial and prozess water, wastewater
- Swimming-pool water
- Food and beverages, milk and dairy products
